FIFTH FLOOR - WALKING TRACK

The fifth floor features 10,500sqft of occupiable space. With the Fifth Floor currently absent a commercial tenant, it was opened in 2022 as a public lounge and exercise space for building occupants. The floor is marked two sets of east-west lane markers, and one circular loop set of tape markers, so that "floor walkers" can keep track of the miles they have covered.

Mall walking, museum and theater walking are all popular in both cold and warm climates for those that wish to stay fit while remaining in a comfortable, secure environment. Given the extreme winter temperatures in Milbank, it is undesirable to leave the building during the work day. The Fifth Floor area gives building occupants a large space to depart from the rigors and demands of their workspace and exercise and relax for a break.

 

The Fifth Floor also features a lounge area, a lunchroom table, vending machine, and two 65" LED televisions connected to popular streaming services, as well as complimentary water and light snacks, WiFi, information on track distances and a scale for persons tracking weight loss.
